Two wonderful events in August

All MAC Give volunteers in the "Tools 4 School" event

Salam ALaikom everyone,

In shaa' ALlah all of you are fine and well.

Last August MAC Give had two events, and both of them Elhamdulilah were wonderful.

The first event was with the Multiple Sclerosis Society, a Bike tour to help for collecting money for their researches to find a cure for this disease. In the event we were making the registration process and elhamdulilah everyone enjoyed it.

The Second event was "Tools 4 School" which was organized by Ottawa Food Bank and the CAYFO (Children And Youth Friendly Ottawa) in which we were helping by sorting the school tools to be sent to people in need, it was truly wonderful.

Jazakom Allah Khair,

MAC Give Committee.

Tree Distribution event (Jazakom Allah Khair)

Assalamu Alaikum everyone:

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says, "if a Muslim plants a tree and men, birds and beasts eat from it, all of it is a charity on his part".

On behalf of the MAC Give Committee, the City of Ottawa and its residents, we would like to thank you for all your contributions during the MAC Give Tree Distribution Event. Without your generous help, we could not have accomplished such a successful event!

We look forward to seeing you at our next event in June!

Jazakum Allah Khairan!

MAC Give again with the MS Society

Salam Alaikum everyone:

"The best people are those who are most useful to others." Prophet Mohammad said.

Last August, MAC Give joined a big number of volunteers in the Rona Bike Tour to help the MS Society in its mission, and now MAC Give is excited to announce our participation in this year's Super Cities Walk. In 2007, close to two-thousand WALKers in this community raised over $300,000.

As you can imagine such a big and important event needs a lot of extra hands to allow the event to achieve success. Multiple Sclerosis is most often diagnosed in young adults, aged 15 to 40, but it can also affect children, some as young as two years old. Its effects are physical, emotional, financial, and last a lifetime. For the Sake of Allah, MAC Give is inviting you to join us in this event, we can make a difference by helping the MS Society.

What: Taking care of registration process
When: April 27th from 7:30-10:30amWhere: Sir John Carling Building , 930 Carling Ave. (located on Birch Drive. Birch Drive connects to Maple Drive, and NCC Driveway or Carling Ave.)

Please sign up with us by Thursday, April 24th at 4:00pm by sending an e-mail to the mygottawa@gmail.com
including your e-mail address, full name, your phone number, and your age.
